I offer a telephone call for a conversation free of charge prior to starting therapy, where I invite you to ask any questions that you may have regarding the way that I work and what to expect. Choosing to have counselling is a big decision and I like to use this time as an introduction and an opportunity for you to decide if you feel comfortable choosing me as your therapist.
I run my private practice for face to face sessions from the following venues:
Social distancing measures are maintained at each venue and in the therapy rooms.
If you decide to go ahead and arrange a face to face appointment, I will carry out a risk assessment discussion with you via telephone, regarding any increased vulnerability to, exposure to, or symptoms of Covid19.
The Counselling Agreement ensures that the counselling process will be performed in a safe and professional manner.
During your first counselling session, I will carry out an assessment and ask you questions about why you wish to have counselling and what you hope to achieve.
I offer both short and long-term work on a weekly basis, with progress reviews at regular intervals.
Should you decide to go ahead with counselling, we will agree the number of counselling sessions and the date and time of the first session.
Fees are £50.00 per 50-minute session, payable by BACS transfer in advance. Cash or cheque payable on the day.
You are under no obligation to proceed with therapy following our conversation should you decide that it is not for you
