I have a warm and compassionate approach.
We will work together to explore your difficulties, thoughts and feelings, at a pace that feels right for you.
My aim is to offer you a safe and supportive relationship to help you to work through any past and present difficulties, issues or events.
My practice is Integrative, which means that I incorporate more than one therapeutic approach during therapy, as no one approach can suit all.
I provide Face to face, Online and Telephone Counselling sessions for adults and young people from the age of 16.
I believe that the relationship between you and your counsellor is key to facilitating the changes you wish to make
You are the expert on you. This approach looks at your experiences from your perspective. It can help you to reconnect with inner values and sense of self-worth, thus enabling you to find your own way to move forward and progress.
This approach encourages taking responsibility for your thoughts and actions, the emphasis is on achieving your potential rather than on problematic behaviour.
Looks at the importance of past significant life events and experiences and how these can influence current thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
A future orientated, goal directed, problem solving approach which focuses on strengths and skills and coping abilities.
The exploration of social interactions and communication styles on personality development and behaviour.
Learning to focus on being aware of what you are experiencing in the moment.
